SkyBlue Media Sdn. Bhd., set up in the year 2008, is one of Malaysia's frontrunner in the field of outdoor advertising. Sensing great opportunity when none was visible to the ordinary players, SkyBlue made a huge bet on Digital Outdoor Media, apart from having a strong presence in Conventional Outdoor Media as well as Mobile Media. It is this action which landed the company the ASEAN Business Council award for Industry Excellence in the field of Digital Media in 2016.

SkyBlue is about providing value to both the brands and the customers by helping brands reach out to the right kind of customers in the right location at the right time and also ensuring that a consumer sees ads which are relevant to making commerce decisions. This two-sided play is what creates incremental value for the company.

Adopting the Digital Strategy early, SkyBlue, the first company in the world to do so, launched the synchronous LED screens across the Federal Highway in Malaysia whereby customers saw a series of brand visuals as they drove on the highway, giving the feeling of watching video. In a world where a picture is worth a thousand words, a video is worth a thousand pictures. Under Dato’ Manikandamurthy Velayoudam’s capable leadership, the company is dedicated to pushing the envelope on innovation in Digital Media to create significant value in the ecosystem by injecting new life into Digital Outdoor Advertising by providing some tools which are only available over the internet as of today. SkyBlue Media’s sights are set on the ASEAN Level, wherein by 2018, it hopes to achieve a significant presence in all major ASEAN countries.

Even decades after Independence, some communities in India are under-privileged. Their youths lack business motivation and are away from mainstream economy. This keeps them at the bottom of the national economy. Maeeshat was launched in 2010 to change the lot of backward communities including minorities. We started two monthly magazines – Maeeshat in English and Bainulaqwami Maeeshat in Urdu – and published success stories of entrepreneurs and businessmen among them to boost the morale of the youths.

After success, we launched five news websites in English, Hindi, Urdu, Arabic and Persian. These media outlets are run by Maeeshat Media Pvt. Ltd (registered in 2013). To increase our reach, we inked tie-up with leading news apps News Hunt, UC News and Magzter. Now, we get over two lakh hits on portals every month, a big chunk of it from GCC countries as we cover business news from the region.
